Fran Elrod is the Senior Pastor for Clemson United Methodist Church. Fran is a graduate of Columbia College (B.A. Christian Education) and Erskine Theological Seminary (M.Div.). In addition to serving as pastor of local churches, Fran has also served as the Oncology Counselor at AnMed Health in Anderson, SC, and is also the Chairperson for the SC Annual Conference Board of Ordained Ministry. She is married to Larry and they have three children and four grandchildren. Fran is passionate about discipleship ministries and Christian leadership development in the church, and loves to experience people growing in grace.
Pastor of Spiritual Formation and Lead Pastor for The Vine
Jim is the Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Clemson United Methodist Church. He is a graduate of Wofford College (B.A. Religion) and Duke Divinity School (M.Div.) Before coming to Clemson Jim served as the pastor of Ann Hope and Friendship United Methodist Churches in Seneca. Jim is married to Becky and they have two children, Charlie and Sammy. Jim loves bluegrass, SciFi movies (the nerdier the better), ACC basketball, and is excited to be a part of the Clemson UMC family.
Steve Simoneaux is the Director of the Clemson Wesley Foundation and Campus Minister for Clemson United Methodist Church. He previously served as Associate Pastor at Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville, SC. Steve is a graduate of Clemson University and Candler School of Theology at Emory University (M.Div.). Steve's call to ministry has been influenced by his involvement in the Clemson Wesley Foundation as an undergraduate student at Clemson University.
Pastor of Congregational Care
Pat Kelley is the Pastor of Congregational Care at Clemson United Methodist Church. He is a graduate of Purdue University and Candler School of Theology at Emory University (Course of Study). Pat spent four years as a US Air Force contracting officer, twenty years in manufacturing management with Square D Company, and thirteen years managing a printing business in Greenville prior to becoming a pastor.
Director of Children's Ministries
Marie Schmidt is the Director of Children's Ministries at Clemson United Methodist Church. She is a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University (B.A. in Early Childhood Education). Marie worked as a teacher in the Pickens County School District before working at Clemson UMC. Her call to ministry is defined by her great love for working with children and their families.
Director of Youth Ministries and Worship Leader for The Vine
Cameron Shaw is the Director of Youth Ministries and Vine Worship Leader for Clemson UMC. Cameron is from King, NC (a small town between Winston-Salem and Mount Airy). He attended Mars Hill College before transferring to UNC-Wilmington where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health with License to teach K-12. Cameron played football and ran track in high school and then went on to compete in track and field at the college level. Cameron has worked in campus ministry and participated in ministry internships while in college. He served as a Worship Leader in Clearwater, FL. Cameron is married to Jaimie Shaw, and he and Jaimie are excited to be at Clemson UMC and look forward to what God is going to do through their ministry in this community.
Director of Music Ministries
Jamie Bryson serves as Director of Music Ministries of Clemson United Methodist Church. A native of the Highlands-Cashiers area of North Carolina, Jamie began playing piano at age 3 and studied private piano through High School. He earned degrees from Charleston Southern University (B. A. Church Music) and Mercer University (M. M. Church Music/Organ). A Church musician for over 30 years, he has served churches in the Carolinas and Georgia, most recently at Martha Bowman Memorial United Methodist Church in Macon. Jamie is passionate about worship and helping others have meaningful worship experiences each week.
Director of Little Lights
Jacqui Rice is the Director of Little Lights Learning Center at CUMC. Jacqui was born and raised in Clemson and her grandparents were long time members of CUMC. Jacqui graduated from Clemson University in 2010 with a B.A. in Multi-Categorical Special Education and Elementary Education. Jacqui previously taught special education in the public schools in the Charleston area before moving back to her beloved hometown in 2017. Jacqui and her husband, Greg Rice, have one daughter, Finley Grace. Jacqui enjoys spending time with family, attending Clemson athletic events, and being on the water. Jacqui and her family are excited for what God has planned for them here in Clemson.

Anne Eldridge is the Church Administrator/Director of Communications and Director of Children's Music at Clemson UMC. She previously worked for the B.A.A. Boston Marathon. Anne is a graduate of Clemson University and Berklee College of Music.
