Keith D. Ray II is the Senior Pastor of Clemson United Methodist Church. He has been a pastor for over 25 years and previously served as Associate University Chaplain and Assistant Professor of Religion at Furman University. Keith is a graduate of Marshall University (B.A. in Economics), Candler School of Theology at Emory University (M.Div.), and Northern Seminary (D.Min. in Worship Studies). He has done additional graduate work in liturgical studies at the University of Notre Dame. Keith taught in the field of worship and liturgy at three theological schools and directed numerous doctoral students in developing theses in worship studies. He serves on the Board of Directors for Colibri Center for Human Rights in Tucson, AZ.
Pastor of Spiritual Formation and Lead Pastor for The Vine
Jim is the Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Clemson United Methodist Church. He is a graduate of Wofford College (B.A. Religion) and Duke Divinity School (M.Div.) Before coming to Clemson Jim served as the pastor of Ann Hope and Friendship United Methodist Churches in Seneca. Jim is married to Becky and they have two children, Charlie and Sammy. Jim loves bluegrass, SciFi movies (the nerdier the better), ACC basketball, and is excited to be a part of the Clemson UMC family.
Steve Simoneaux is the Director of the Clemson Wesley Foundation and Campus Minister for Clemson United Methodist Church. He previously served as Associate Pastor at Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville, SC. Steve is a graduate of Clemson University and Candler School of Theology at Emory University (M.Div.). Steve's call to ministry has been influenced by his involvement in the Clemson Wesley Foundation as an undergraduate student at Clemson University.
Pastor of Congregational Care
Pat Kelley is the Pastor of Congregational Care at Clemson United Methodist Church. He is a graduate of Purdue University and Candler School of Theology at Emory University (Course of Study). Pat spent has four years as a US Air Force contracting officer, twenty years in manufacturing management with Square D Company, and thirteen years managing a printing business in Greenville prior to becoming a pastor.
Director of Children's Ministries
Marie Schmidt is the Director of Children's Ministries of Clemson United Methodist Church. She is a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University (B.A. in Early Childhood Education). Marie has previously worked as a teacher in the Pickens County School District before working at Clemson UMC. Marie's call to ministry is defined by her great love for working with children and their families.
Director of Youth Ministries and Worship Leader for The Vine
Cameron Shaw is the Director of Youth Ministries and Vine Worship Leader for Clemson UMC. Cameron is from King, NC (small town between Winston-Salem and Mount Airy). He graduated from West Stokes High School and attended Mars Hill College before transferring to UNC-Wilmington where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health with License to teach K-12. Cameron played football and ran track in high school and then went on to compete in track and field at the college level. Cameron held multiple school records at Mars Hill and still holds the 100 meter record and 4x100 relay record at UNC-Wilmington. Cameron has been involved in ministry for 6 years, working in campus ministry and participating in ministry internships while in college. He has served as a Worship Leader in Clearwater, FL. Cameron is married to Jaimie Shaw and they have a dog named “Buzz," a Lab-hound mix. Cameron and Jaimie are excited to be at Clemson UMC and look forward to what God is going to do through their ministry in this community.

Ministry Assistant to the Senior Pastor
Carolyn Briscoe is the Ministry Assistant to the Senior Pastor at Clemson United Methodist Church. She is a graduate of Lagrange College (B.A., Psychology), and the University of Georgia (M.Ed.) and (Ed.D., Elementary Education). Prior to working at Clemson United Methodist Church, Carolyn worked as a teacher, instructional supervisor, and administrator. In 2007, after 26 years at Clemson University, she retired and became a Professor Emerita in the CU College of Health, Education, and Human Development. Carolyn has one sister, one brother, two nieces, two nephews and nine grand nieces and nephews. The grands “claim” her as a grandmother, a role she cherishes.
Church Administrator & Director of Children's Music
Anne Eldridge is the Church Administrator/Director of Communications and Director of Children's Music at Clemson UMC. She previously worked for the B.A.A. Boston Marathon. Anne is a graduate of Clemson University and Berklee College of Music.
